If you’re into Prince’s leather jackets, Magnum PI’s hardcore jeans, Knight Rider’s speeding car, old school Casio digitals and still dreaming of flying a Testarossa in space listening to psychedelic 80’s keyboards, then Kavinsky’s your man. Well his new release, 1986, may be too much of a return to the future for some, but taken as a whole, the flipped-out modern-retro thing he’s got going on is rather amusing. Just take a look at Kavinsky’s Myspace and you’ll understand.

And finally, if you haven’t heard it already, don’t miss out on a great track from the grandmaster himself, Anders Trentemoller. His single "Moan" released on Poker Flat is absolutely stunning. Music “so fresh and so clean” yet so mystic, it’s worthy of a philharmonic orchestra at it’s best.
